#Fiction Monday (118) The surprize of the freezia Surpriza freziei

This game is hosted by Vinitha Dileep, on her blog  'Reflections' and
I discovered it on Esha's  blog. This time  the  word prompt is 'BURY'.

Last year I wanted to buy freesia bulbs. I could not find them, however
I found a flowerpot with three stems with fragrant flowers. They continued to open
in turn, of course, as only they know how to do it. The flowers have started
to fall and I used them in a composition. I noticed something strange at one
point, so I continued to wet systematically  the flowerpot, even if slowly, slowly,
the stems had started to dry too. A kind of green 'globe' was formed, getting
bigger. You can see it quite easily in the picture. At some point it started to
unravel and in that moment I detached it. It was full of seeds.
By November I buried a few in the ground of a flowerpot. The surprise was
quite sudden and a small plant appeared. You can see it too.
I don't know how it will evolve. But I hope I'll tell you more about it!

Anul trecut am vrut sa iau bulbi de frezii. Pierdusem momentul lor, insa
am gasit un ghiveci cu trei tije de flori parfumate. Au continuat sa se deschida
pe rand, firesc, asa cum doar ele stiu sa o faca. Florile au inceput sa cada si
le-am folosit intr-o compozitie. Am observat ceva ciudat la un moment dat, ceea
ce m-a facut sa ud sistematic ghiveciul, chiar daca usor, usor, tijele incepusera
sa se ususce si ele. S-a format un fel de rotund verde, ce s-a tot marit. Il puteti
observa destul de usor in imagine. La un moment dat a inceput sa se desfaca
si in acel moment l-am desprins. Era plin cu seminte. Prin noiembrie am
cufundat cateva in pamant intr-un ghiveci. Surpriza a fost ca destul de repejor
a aparut o plantuta. O puteti vedea si pe ea. Nu stiu cum va evolua.
Insa sper sa va mai povestesc!

#Fiction Monday (117) Seekings - Cautari

I discovered it on Esha's  blog. This time  the  word prompt is 'WANDER'.

An interesting video! / Un video interesant!

I liked the video. I discovered several ideas on this occasion. An unknown piece of
music in the interpretation of Flevans, in the album 'A Distant view'. And a quote
from Phytagoras: 'Leave the road, take the trails'. I didn't really use the word 'wander'
explicitly and my wandering is still one usual and modest.
And it's wonderful when it is.
But the journey to ideas unknown to me, with which I resonate, it is truly fascinating.
And somehow it is accelerated. I told you once. It's like I'm being pushed towards new destinations, just, just I will understand. What? What it is meant for me, what else?
That's just what we all do. We are looking for!

Mi-a placut filmuletul. Am descoperit cu aceasta ocazie mai multe idei.
O muzica necunoscuta interpreata de Flevans, in albumul 'A Distant view'. O traduc
ca 'o vedere indepartata'. Si un citat al lui Phytagora: 'Lasa drumul, mergi pe poteci'.
Nu prea am folosit explicit cuvantul 'wander' si cutreieratul meu este totusi unul
obisnuit si modest. Insa este minunat atunci cand este. Dar calatoria spre idei
necunoscute mie, cu care rezonez, este fascinanta cu adevarat. Si este cumva
accelerata. V-am spus candva. Parca sunt impinsa spre noi destinatii, doar, doar
voi intelege. Ce anume? Ceea ce mi-e destinat, ce altceva?  Doar asta facem toti.
Cautam!

#Fiction Monday (116) A few ideas about 'fresh' Cateva idei despre 'proaspat'

A fresh start for my freesias!
Un start nou al freziilor!

I think looking for the fresh subjects around us, it is something instinctive.
Always, questions appear at certain moments, attracting our attention,
wanting answers for our life. Or our paths cross with new people, possibly
to exchange lessons and update settings we didn't even suspect that we have them... Maybe we don't interpret the new discoveries in this way: that they came to us
as a kind of unsolicited help. Whatever questions we ask ourselves, they deserve
a little effort to understand why they appeared in our  mind, in our life.
Before sharing a recipe of a fresh cake, I leave a thought:
Is it possible a fresh start, provided that the entry conditions (habits, beliefs -
strongly fixed ideas-) are the same? I personally do not really believe this!

.. I don't know when to locate this recipe in time. It was initially an experiment,
which has become a habit when I have to make a cake. I either buy the countertop
or use ladyfingers. When I did it, it was a disastrous result.
Do it again is on a wish list without a completion date!😊
The tricks of this cake are the lemons and the cream: chestnut puree mixed with
yogurt and fruit marmalade with lemon juice. The syruping is also with lemon, "diluted" with a homemade liqueur, whatever you have in the kitchen. Cream is
used on the bottom and top layer, and marmalade is placed on the central layer.
I also add raisins (soaked in rum if they are too dry), walnuts and whatever 
I have in the kitchen.
Because of the lemons, the cake is really fresh and can be eaten without any
problems after a more consistent menu. But not necessarily.
I mean, it's also perfect with coffee!

A cauta proaspatul in jurul nostru cred ca este ceva instinctiv. Mereu
apar intrebari ce in anumite momente ne atrag atentia, dorindu-si raspunsuri
pentru viata noastra. Sau drumurile ni se intersecteaza cu oameni noi, posibil
pentru a face schimb de lectii si a ne aduce la zi setarile pe care nici nu banuiam
ca le avem...
Poate nu interpretam in felul asta noul descoperit: ca el ne-a venit in intampinare
ca un fel de ajutor inca necerut. Oricare ar fi intrebarile pe care ni le punem,
ele merita un mic efort  de a intelege de ce si pentru ce au aparut in mintea
noastra, in viata noastra.
Inainte de a va impartasi o reteta de tort fresh, las un gand:
Este posibil un start nou, in conditiile in care conditiile de intrare (obiceiuri,
credinte - idei fixate sanatos-) sunt aceleasi? Eu una nu prea cred asta!

... Nu stiu cand sa localizez in timp aceasta reteta. A fost initial un experiment
ce a devenit o obisnuinta cand am de facut tort.
Blatul fie il cumpar, fie folosesc piscoturi. Atunci cand l-am facut eu, a fost
un rezultat dezastruos. Recidiva este pe o lista de dorinte fara data de realizare!😊
Trucurile acestui tort sunt lamaile si crema: piure de castane amestecat cu iaurt
si marmelada de fructe inmuiata cu zeama de lamaie. Insiroparea este tot cu
lamaie, 'diluata' cu un lichior de casa: afinata, cornata sau ce aveti la indemana.
Pe primul si ultimul strat se foloseste crema, iar pe al doilea se pune marmelada.
Mai adaug stafide (inmuiate in rom daca sunt prea uscate), nuci si ce mai
am prin bucatarie.
Din cauza lamaii tortul este chiar fresh si poate fi consumat fara probleme si
dupa un meniu mai consistent. Dar nu neaparat.
Adica e perfect si la cafea!

De ziua de nastere a marelui nostru poet, Mihai Eminescu, am vrut sa va arat
titlurile a doua carti scrise de Amita Bhose, din care o sa redau cateva idei.

(2) "Intalnirea mea cu poezia lui Eminescu se intampla in 1959 - marturiseste
Amita Bhose intr-un interviu -, la putin timp dupa venirea in Romania...
Imediat dupa sosire m-am inscris la un curs intensiv de limba romana, de doi ani,
la Universitatea din Bucuresti. Este momentul cand, cu totul intamplator, am dat,
intr-un manual, peste poezia 'Ce te legeni..., a lui Mihai Eminescu. Nu stiam
atunci ca aceasta intalnire cu creatia eminesciana va constitui un eveniment
decisiv in viata si cariera mea. ... L-am asezat, inca de pe atunci, in inima mea,
alaturi de Rabindranath Tagore.
Acea intalnire cu Eminescu avea sa-i schimbe viata. La intoarcere in India,
Amitha Bhose incepe sa traduca poeziile lui Eminescu, acestea fiind publicate
in 1969 la Calcutta, sub titlul 'Eminescu: Kavita (Poezii)'.
A fost prima traducatoare a poetului in spatiul asiatic. Traducand acea poezie
aparent simpla - 'Ce te legeni...' - a pus, fara sa stie, piatra de temelie a puntii
dintre cele doua culturi, indiana si romana...
In 1971, cand a fost invitata in Romania la Congresul traducatorilor, Bhose
s-a inscris la o bursa de doctorat cu tema 'Influenta indiana asupra gandirii
lui Eminescu', sustinuta in 1975... si publicata sub titlul:
'Eminescu si India' carte de referinta in domeniul eminescologiei, aparuta
la editura Junimea in 1978. Dupa 32 de ani, cartea a fost retiparita la editura
Cununi de stele." (din introducerea cartii a 2-a, scrisa de Carmen Musat-Coman)

-"Cunoasteti desigur manuscrisele lui Eminescu ce-i tradeaza interesul pentru
   sanscrita. Setea de absolut a acestui poet mare si profund s-a manifestat in
   toate intreprinderile sale. Interesul pentru vechea filozofie indiana l-a
   determinat sa studieze sanscrita.
-  M-am ocupat de aceste manuscrise in teza mea de doctorat. Eminescu a fost
   extraordinar. Si, cu certitudine, si un student extraordinar. A studiat la
   Universitatea din Berlin, unde a participat la cursurile profesorului Weber,
   unul din cei mai mari indologi ai timpului. Notitele luate la cursuri exista
   inca si este usor de observat ca el nu se limita la cursul lui Weber.
   Eu personal cred ca a examinat multe alte surse in bibliotecile din Berlin
   si Viena. Cineva ar trebui sa mearga la arhivele acestor biblioteci. Stim
   ca se apucase sa scrie un manual de gramatica sanscrita. Manuscrisul
   neterminat, se afla la Biblioteca Universitatii din Iasi. A zacut acolo, ignorat
   aproape complet, vreme de exact 100 de ani. Eminescu a inceput sa lucreze
   la el in 1876, iar eu am avut privilegiul sa-l studiez in 1976.
   Am parcurs manuscrisul iar acum este gata pentru editia academica a
   Operelor complete, unde va aparea in vol. 13. In primul rand , si cel mai
   important, am fost impresionata de scrierea lui perfecta. Vechea scriere
   indiana este un lucru dificil si complicat chiar si pentru un indian educat,
   cu atat mai mult pentru un student strain. Eminescu cunoaste foarte bine
   principiile fonetice desi se pare ca nu a auzit niciodata un indian vorbind.
   Oricum nici profesorul Weber nu a fost niciodata in India.
   In ceea ce priveste principiile gramaticale Eminescu dovedeste si aici o
   cunoastere riguroasa. Am constatat asta din greselile pe care le-a corectat
   el insusi in manuscris. Aceasta lucrare este valoroasa in opinia mea, nu
   numai ca manuscris al celui mai mare poet roman, dar si in sine."

 ..."Din dorinta de a patrunde tainele creatiei, Eminescu a simtit nevoia
      sa parcurga textele originale indiene; de acolo s-a iscat interesul sau
      pentru stapanirea limbii sanscrite...
      Eminescu a fost primul traducator roman din limba sanscrita."

 

E cam tarziu sa invat o astfel de scriere!
Insa  cararile eminesciene sunt o permanenta sursa de inspiratie.
