#Fiction Monday (24) - A new game... - Un joc nou...

This game is hosted by Vinitha Dileep, on her blog  'Reflections' and
I discovered it on Esha's  blog. This time  the word prompt is 'BURN'.

 

Silvian rang to the doorbell of his friend, Eusebiu. He hear a weak ‘enter’.
A burning smell greeted him.
- Hi! What experiment did you do?
- Nothing this time. I made the coffee and I managed to boiled it over.
But there is something left! Welcome.
And if I still have to wash the stove, meanwhile maybe we inaugurate a game
-… Let’s hear!
- We choose a word and try to explore different meanings and other ideas related to it.
Maybe we discover something to explore it later…
- OK. And… the word is…
- ‘Burn’, as the reality inspires us.
Silvian began to write on a piece of paper the ideas that were unfolded by each of them:

burning ice; the sun and the burning fire; burning eyes; hot brain; interior fire;
burning stages; sayings:
'whoever burned with soup blows in yogurt too’;
'the country is burning and the grandmother is combing'.

He stopped and said:
- That's it, three minutes have passed! Enough.
  What shall we do next?
-…I think about preparing something to eat and deciding the new path to
 explore. What do you say about ...'hot brain'?

Silvian suna la usa prietenului sau, Eusebiu. Auzi un ‘intra’ indepartat.
Fu intampinat doar de un miros de ars.
- Hei! Ce experiment ai facut?
- Niciunul. Am pus de cafea si am reusit sa o dau in foc.
Dar a mai ramas ceva! Bine ai venit.
Si daca tot trebuie sa spal aragazul, poate inauguram un joc pana termin.
-… Ia sa te aud.
- Alegem un cuvant si incercam sa-i gasim mai multe sensuri si alte idei conexe cu el.
Poate ne vine vreo idee de urmat…
- OK. Si… cuvantul este…
- ‘Arde’, ca doar realitatea ne inspira.
Silvian incepu sa scrie pe o hartie ideile ce se derulau rostite de fiecare:
gheata care arde; soarele si focul care ard; priviri arzatoare; creier incins; foc interior;
arderea etapelor; zicale:
‘cine s-a fript cu ciorba sufla si in iaurt’;
‘tara arde si baba se piaptana'.

Se opri si zise:
- Gata, au trecut trei minute! Suficient.
  Ce facem mai departe?
- Ma  gandesc sa pregatim  ceva de mancare si sa decidem ce cale sa exploram.
  Ce spui de 'creier incins'...?

#Fiction Monday (23) - Our moments- Momentele noastre

I discovered it on Esha's  blog. This time  the word prompt is 'NOW'.

 

I met people so preoccupied of their own thoughts and reasonings, that in
the middle of a discussion I realized that they misunderstood the essence
of the dialog so badly that a repetition would have been mandatory...
The present moment it's an idea not so difficult to understand, thinking
that every lived second it's a drop of 'now' and their sum creates the 'string'
of our life.

But what is difficult to perceive is the presence or absence  of the mind in a
particular 'now', the awareness of what  is happening with us in a certain
moment.
I love this zen quote, which is a perfect metaphor for the concept:
" When you walk, walk, when you eat, eat, when you sit, sit".

I really understood the essence of this idea in a very brutal way, when
thinking at my destination and hurrying up, I did not pay attention
to the surrounding space, I fell down  and after that I had to go to the
emergency room of a hospital! I considered this like a lesson of the
Universe, because with the whole 'repair' after the accident, 
I arrived where I needed in time...
 
So, dear friends, honestly, instead of being concentrated on a future
moment or a past moment, it's wiser and safer to be present in what
you are doing right now!
It's so good to be present and aware of our 'now' moments and
discover the magic of the energy that inspires us, because it does!

Am intalnit oameni atat de preocupati de propriile lor ganduri si rationamente,
incat in  mijlocul unei discutii mi-am dat seama ca au inteles gresit esenta dialogului
intr-un mod atat de grav incat o repetare ar fi fost obligatorie ...
Momentul prezent este o idee nu atat de dificil de inteles, gandind ca fiecare secunda
traita este o picatura de „acum” si suma lor creeaza  firul vietii noastre.

Dar ceea ce este greu de perceput este prezenta sau absenta mintii in momentul prezent, constientizarea a ceea ce se intampla cu noi intr-o anumit  moment.
Imi place acest citat zen, care este o metafora perfecta pentru concept:
„Cand mergi, mergi, cand mananci, mananci, cand stai, stai”.

Am inteles cu adevarat esenta acestei idei intr-un mod foarte brutal, cand
gandindu-ma la destinatie si grabindu-ma, nu am acordat atentie spatiului inconjurator,
am cazut si dupa aceea a trebuit sa ma duc la camera de urgenta a unui spital!
Am considerat asta ca o lectie a Universului, pentru ca am ajuns acolo unde aveam nevoie
la timp, chiar cu intreaga „reparatie” dupa accident...

Asadar, dragi prieteni, sincer, in loc sa fim concentrati pe un moment din viitor
sau pe un moment din trecut, este mai intelept si mai sigur sa fim prezenti in ceea ce 
facem chiar acum! Este atat de bine sa fim  constienti de momentul nostru prezent
si sa descoperim magia energiei care ne inspira...
